2. Fragility of bamboo

Bamboo is a weak material to bend comparing to the rattan.
However, my father is able to knit perfectly with the single material and there's
no broken section.
In case that bamboo material is broken , it is usual to use a different
bamboo with the part where bamboo is crossed. Of course, my father never
admits such a treatment.
As for the work of my father, when you try to see the
work through the light, you can find that the stitch crossed is doing a uniform
hinge. In case of using another bamboo, it should be seen with
blacker than other parts.
