3. Way of bending of bamboo

The bamboo is a very difficult material to bend in reverse direction, although it is possible comparatively easily to bend the hard part of the surface to inside.

The work of the following picture is the example that bent in the opposite direction, I think no one can see such a bending. My father used the device of something, although I do not understand the method, of course it is secret (, but I know it very well ).

This is the work in 1987 upon in commemoration of the birth of his grandchild, that means my son, Haruhisa ( his name is derived from the eternity in Japanese ).
